Delphinium has been my family's go-to birthday/holiday card/gift shop for as long as I can remember. Every time you go there, you are bound to laugh and smile at the new cheeky cards and gifts. The people there are very friendly. If I give you a birthday card, there's a 100% chance that I got it at Delphinium.

I'm thrilled that they are still thriving after so many years! They originated in the space that is now UT47 don'tcha know? If I'm looking for a gift for someone, a small treat for myself, or a card that I can't find at CVS this is the only place to go.

This place is a treasure trove of trinkets, decor, odds and ends and it makes me so happy. It's my go-to stop for last-minute gifts, cards for all occasions, and other tchotchkes that you didn't know you NEEDED.

Delphinium is my go-to when I need a special gift for a friend. They have fun and silly gifts that are great for all ages. From home gifts to stationery, they have a little bit of everything. One year I got a silly fart machine keychain for my daughter as a holiday gift and it instantly became the most beloved item in our household, bringing endless laughter and joy.

Talk about your very own, grown-up, gay, playground — Delphinium Home is the perfect boutique for special glassware or gag gift for a housewarming party. Not to mention, their Christmas window display is top notch, iconic NYC.

When I send my father a present, he always asks “Is it from that good store?” Or he comments, “It’s very unique, it must be from that good store!” And yes, it invariably IS from “that good store”. Why go anywhere else?

It seems that every week there is a reason I need a gift, a card, or a cute surprise for someone. So off I go to Delphinium. I like supporting LGBTQ+ owned businesses, but here it’s more than that. The casual and welcoming atmosphere and the expertly curated selection of merchandise means I can always find the perfect gift. The guys are great. Hey, they had me at their “B*tch I’m from Hell’s Kitchen” tote.

The merchandise at Delphinium is fun and whimsical. They also have a kick-ass (can I say that?) selection of reading glasses. 

My wife Hope shops here constantly for birthdays and holidays and always finds the perfect gift!

We smile every time we go in there. The sheer diversity of items you didn’t know you needed in your life is amazing!

Another gem on W47th Street. Whenever I want a unique greeting card, a cute gift, or even a shower curtain, I run to Delphinium Home. Michael and John are the owners and they’re always there to help.

Delphinium has been a go-to store for fun and quirky gifts all the time that we have lived in Hell’s Kitchen. Friendly staff. They have had several locations over the years but are currently on W47th Street, just east of 9th Avenue.

A super fun place to browse and shop. They have really cute and sometimes rare finds.

There’s always something here that makes me laugh, and I always leave smiling. When you’re in need of a gift, this place has it. Gift-giving and greeting cards are two of my favorite things and are dying practices, which I’m just not ok with. We need more places like this. And it’s gay-owned!

The owners are fabulous and I can always find unique gifts and cards.

W47th Street between 8th and 9th is not a place you’d expect to find a quirky little gift shop like this. It has tons of greeting cards, candles and eclectic affordable gifts, plus the owners’ sense of humor is certainly reflected in the awesome merchandise. It’s my go-to place for a fun present or card.

This place just has really cool stuff. Cards for all occasions, and fun quirky gifts for all.

They have always had the coolest inventory. I got one of my first Hillary for President shirts ever there, back in '05. They are always on the right side of history and have the most fun and progressive items.

It’s one of my favorite places to go and browse. They have wonderful gift ideas, beautiful candles and a huge variety of funny greeting cards.

I've sung their praises to W42ST more than once before. If I need a card or gift, I go here.
