Il Melograno

My favorite restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen, Il Melograno. I have so many great memories eating here, especially with my partner of 10 years, James. We especially love their outdoor seating, especially on a warm summer night. It reminds me of the magic of New York, and the vibrant community of Hell’s Kitchen. I always come back for the pappardelle and the cannolis.

Lino and Gregory are amazing people. The food and service is wonderful. They care so much about the business and have become friends. They also just opened an antique and vintage home decor shop in Washington Depot, CT called Pasquale et Maurice Home if you’re in that area.

Il Melograno is another long-time staple that is just so fantastic. Cozy cozy cozy and yummy food and drinks at a reasonable price. It’s the place I take all my friends and family to when they are visiting town. A true New York dining experience.

They’re on 10th Avenue and the food is yummy. The atmosphere is cozy and a little romantic…

Here you will find a family atmosphere, good Italian cuisine and the kindness of Gregory and Lino.

We have been eating at this Italian restaurant on 51st and 10th Ave since it opened. It is fresh and laid back and we have entertained a lot of friends here. It does not feel as un-authentic or hurried as some of the 9th Avenue Italian restaurants that cater to the Broadway show crowd feel.

They make a lot of good pasta that we use for events, because it’s really good pasta that you can buy in large quantities. During the pandemic we ordered like crazy from them. I’m very concerned about keeping people open.

Il Melograno has delicious Italian food. I’ve had a lot of special memories here (including dinner the night I got engaged). The food is fresh, homemade and very fairly priced. We love it here!
